The life cycle of a flowering plant begins with a seed. Alfalfa seeds are easy to sprout and grow in the classroom. Sprout these seeds in a jar, glove, or even an eggshell filled with soil. A smaller 1-ounce bag of alfalfa seed is available for purchase.
