Who Grew My Soup (Information Only)

Grades K-5 (Book)

Read Aloud is available.

This charming book tells the story of a skeptical boy who refuses to eat his soup until he finds out who grew each of the ingredients. The story is told with a fun rhyme-scheme and the illustrations are extremely well-crafted. A great way to connect a child to the farmers who grew his or her food while still sharing an entertaining, well-written and engaging story.

Super cute story, I have been wanting the book a long time. I do wish I could have gotten it in hardback. Planning to use it during a summer garden program along with the online lesson plans. Our soup will be cold gazpacho. Yum!
