Grow your own necklace! This kit contains enough materials for 15 students to plant two bean seeds and two bean embryos in a mini ziplock bags. Students will add yarn to create living necklaces. Given a few days the necklace will be alive with growing sprouts - baby plants for students to observe. An excellent activity for teaching plant growth requirements, and parts of plants. This kit correlates with the lesson plan Seeds, Miraculous Seeds and Bean Seed Cycles found on the National Agricultural Literacy Curriculum Matrix.
