Designed specifically for a younger audience, the lesson helps students understand all that is incorporated into the word 'agriculture.' There are also excellent book recommendations to make this the perfect stop for an introduction to agriculture. The Farm Web kit includes 30 Farm Web Pictures, printed in color on durable synthetic paper, and sufficient yarn for making the web. Love this! Used it on Friday for the “Source Search Relay” and followed up having kids construct the Farm Web. Excellent teaching tool!

    My Farm Web

I love this lesson! Creates a great foundation for agriculture awareness and appreciation. I think that updating the pictures of the beef cows (maybe Black Angus) helps students see the difference. Also, adding popcorn allowed students to make a quick connection to corn.
