Grades K–12 (Kit)
Stimulate creativity with an all-natural modeling clay! The Beeswax Modeling Clay Kit provides students with a hands-on way to explore renewable resources while shaping, molding, and creating. Beeswax clay softens with the warmth of your hands, can be reused again and again, and connects agriculture to art, science, and product design.
This kit contains the recipe and enough beeswax, coconut oil, and lanolin to make 36 portions of beeswax clay. Containers are included for storage. Use this activity with the Honey Bees: A Pollination Simulation lesson, or expand it into discussions about pollinators, natural resources, and renewable vs. synthetic materials.
