Grades 6–12 (Min Kit)
Make your own lip balm with the natural power of beeswax! Beeswax is a valuable by-product of honey harvesting and has been used for centuries in candles, cosmetics, art materials, electronics, lubricants, polishes, inks, and paints.
With this mini kit, students get hands-on experience turning beeswax into a practical everyday product—lip balm! It includes the essential ingredients needed to make beeswax lip balm and contains enough supplies for 6–8 tubes. This activity is a fun, small-scale introduction to natural resources, product design, and the many ways bees contribute to our lives.
Looking for a larger kit? Check out our Full Beeswax Lip Balm Kit, which includes enough supplies for 36–48 tubes of lip balm.
