Grades 6–12 (Kit)
Turn beeswax into something you can use every day! Beeswax is a valuable by-product of honey harvesting and has been used for centuries in candles, cosmetics, art materials, electronics, lubricants, polishes, inks, and paints.
With this kit, students discover one of the many practical uses of beeswax by creating their own lip balm. It includes the common ingredients needed to make beeswax lip balm and contains enough supplies for 36–48 tubes. The activity is a fun, hands-on way to explore natural resources, product design, and the role of bees in agriculture.
